The owner and founder, Fred Saint Amand Jr.,was concerned with the extremely high cost of funeral services and lack of sensitivity to cultural traditions provided by local funeral homes. Island Memorial Funeral Home was established to meet the demands for fair priced funerals without sacrificing personal care and dignity. We at Island Memorial Funeral Home have simply found a better way to bring dignified, simple, and cost effective services to our West Indian, Caribbean and Hispanic communities. 

Island Memorial Funeral Home has no desire to pressure you towards an elaborate funeral or expensive merchandise. To reduce costs, services can be held in one of our beautiful gathering chapels, the family’s place of religious worship, or location of choice. Island Memorial Funeral Home is a fully licensed funeral provider which includes independent, local ownership-someone more concerned with families in the community than far-off shareholders.
