On October 4th, 1965, A star named Alide Michel was born in Cap-Haitian, Haiti to Alice Menard Michel and Kersuzan Michel. She was the 4th child of 7 siblings. She grew up around a big family. In her teen years, she attended Martin Luther King High School in Cap-Haitian. She was a beautician and a skilled tailor. She moved her lights to the state of New York, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant while raising her one and only son. Alide had a passion for music, singing, and dancing. She was very talented in many ways especially in Arts, Decor, and cooking. However, Alide's biggest talent was Alide herself. The love she gave was beyond words. She was such a beautiful soul that was kind, thoughtful and was loved by family and friends.
On April 5th, 2024, Alide was called home. As we bid in farewell, let us all take comfort in a favorite memory that keeps Alide Michel's presence alive.
We love you but God loves you more. Rest in the bosom of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While thanking God for your life and the fond memories of a loving mother, sister, cousin, aunt, let us tell you that you’ll be missed but we will continue to love you.
She is survived by her only child, Raldy Emmanuel; her brothers and sisters Josué Michel, Gladys Jean, Manouse Dorcin, Esaïe Michel, John Michel; and numerous friends and family who she shared her love with.
Rest in Peace Alide!
