Celissa Dieujuste was born on March 6, 1956 in a small town of Marchand Dessalines, Haiti. Celissa was the youngest of four daughters to her mother Gracieuse Joseph, and only child to her father Thermil Calixte. Celissa received her early education in Haiti.  After graduating from high school Celissa began her adventure in life by traveling to America. She settled in Elizabeth, NJ on December 17, 1980 at the age of 23.

Celissa met her soon to be husband that same year, Hubert Dieujuste. They created a blended family with sons Yvens Dieujuste and Sidney Calixte. Later introducing the world to their son Antoine V. Dieujuste in 1984, and daughter Videleine Damus Dieujuste in 1986.    

Celissa worked for O.K Towel from 1981-1989, at Jersey Gardens Mall from 1999 to 2010, and lastly United Airlines from 2002- 2015 until she became ill.

Celissa was a very loving and wonderful mother and wife. She was also a peoples’ person who lived and loved life to the fullest. She loved to cook and had great entrepreneurial skills.  Celissa also loved spending time with her grandchildren and the love of her life Hubert. Celissa is survived by her husband Hubert Dieujuste, Sons: Yvens Dieujuste, Sidney Calixte, and Antoine Dieujuste.  Daughter Videleine Dieujuste.  Niece Rezianna Benoit, Nephew Wilson Benoit. Ten loving grandchildren, and a host of cousins, friends and family. Celissa will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts.
