Felibert Refuse

       Felibert Refuse was born on June 7, 1923 to Alcius Refuse and Rosilena Joseph (both deceased) in Jacmel, Haiti where he attended grade school at Ecole Nationale De Saint Antoine.  In 1969, he married the love of his life, Marie Melanie, with whom he had 9 children.

              After spending more than 40 years of his life working as a Forman at HASCO, a Haitian sugar company, he migrated to the United States of America in 1991 to join his wife and 3 of his children.

Through his hard work at San Mar Laboratory located in White Plains NY, He managed to create a better life for his children left back home, and after 13 years, his dream came true when he was reunited with all of his children. 

His kindness was shown through charity work as he dedicated his life to help take care of distant family members back home who were less fortunate as well as helping build a school in the exact area where he was born. 

  Despite his commitment to his family and others he was not exempt from the natural course of life and disease process. The last few years of his life were overpowered by the devastating sides of Alzheimer disease. He began to slowly decline until he took his last breath on June 17, 2018.

Michelange, Wilda, Brunette, and Agathe.

His sons-in-law and daughters-in-law: Frantz C., Peterson, Frantz M., Harry, Monise, Violette, and Helena.

His grand-children: Dominique, Takisha, Billy, Gael, Valerie, Nathan, Robert, Aisha, Johny, Watner, Lovely, Alix, Ritchy, Jekeiff, Shelsie, Amy, Sophie, Lloyd, Scott, Ethan, and Emilie.

His Great Grand-children: Jayden, Marvens, Anne Betshaina, Ryan,

and Joshua.

His nephews and nieces living in the USA and Haiti.
