Welcome to the memorial page for

Gladys Soliman

October 3, 1947 ~ December 25, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years Old

Gladys Soliman, 70, devoted wife and mother, passed away on Monday December 25 th , 2017. Born on October 3, 1947 in Port au Prince, Haiti, to Arcelor Veil and Yvonne Silin. Gladys immigrated to the United States along with her husband and two eldest children.

To know her is to love her. Gladys had a heart of gold. Her pride and joy were her family and their wellbeing. On any given night she could be found at her local ShopRite securing various goods to distribute amongst her children. She had a knack for couponing and getting the best deal. Gladys was known for her cooking, specifically her rice. You never left her house hungry. She took joy in cooking for her family every Sundays and holidays, something she did till the very end.

She would not have wanted us to weep today, she would not have wanted a fuss, such was her modesty. She gave the world but expected little in return. Those of us fortunate enough to have been touched by her generosity would attest that she was an angel amongs us. A mother to the end of her days. She takes this journey to eternity with her son Rony.

Gladys is survived by her husband of 50 years Dieudonne Soliman, children and their spouses, Roseline and husband James Williams, Judith, and husband Jean Rempart and David and wife Valerie Soliman. Also mourning her loss are ten loving grandchildren Jeff, Kayron, Gabriella, Justice, James, Olivia, David, Carter, Alexandria, and Dominic along with her siblings Wilner, Aloude, Rodrique, Rosemarie, Mariemaude, Carol and Ketley

She is preceded in death by her sons, Ronald, Jeffte and Rony Soliman respectfully.

Gladys leaves behind a host of relatives who will mourn her loss. We ask that you keep the family in your prayers during this time of great loss.
