Louis Colin Obituary

On Sunday, November 25, 2018, Louis Colin, loving husband, and father of three children, ‘passed away’ after a long struggle with cancer’, at Newark Beth Israel hospital surrounded by his family at the age 65.

Louis was born on February 22, 1953, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to his parents        Magloire Colin and Innonce Tham. In his early teenage years, Louis devoted his life to serving his loving God, Jehovah. He was baptized on August 4, 1973 While working in the textile industry in Haiti, he met Urlande Elissaint. Shortly after meeting, they were married on December 30, 1982, and had three children together. In 1985, he came to America with 3 of his brothers to pursue a better life for himself and his    family. He worked as a chef at Red Lobster before his sickness 8 years ago.

On February 1, 2015, he became a regular pioneer to join his wife in preaching the good news of the Gospel full time. This is where he found his joy in declaring his love for Jehovah God by sharing the Kingdom News. Louis Colin’s life mirrored the Good               Samaritan, that is related by our savior Jesus in the bible. Louis devoted his life to helping others spiritually and materially. He shared everything that he had with his family and those who surrounded him. He was a husband who loved his dear wife Urlande, a father who loved his three sons, a grandfather who cherished his two grandchildren, a brother who loved his sisters and brothers, standing by their side when they were ill or in need. He was always proud of who he was and the ones he loved. He was a hard worker and was always there when you needed him.

It is with great sadness that Louis Colin is only sleeping in death. Although he left us too soon, we refuse to say good-bye. Instead, we will see him later in the new world (in the paradise).

He is survived by the following family, sharing the memory of his wonderful life:
