Luckner Jean-Baptiste was born on November 23, 1958 in Gonaives, Haiti to the parentage of the late Antonio Jean-Baptiste and Altagrace Joseph Luckner completed High School at 22. He left Haiti at the age of 49 and started working for Central Parking.
Luckner Jean-Baptiste was well diverted in his travels from here to Haiti and he was a great, courageous and lovely man. He was both a nice and disciplined man. He loved his family, his children and his friends, he loved everybody. He would be ready to help anyone that is in need. He loved to work and he worked hard to raise his children and take care of his family. As a result of his discipline, his courage and kindness, he was loved by everyone. All along his life, he was hustling for his family, his wife and his children. After entering in the US, he started to work in Hoboken, then in Manhattan. He woke up early in the morning, around 4:00 o’clock, from Monday to Friday to go look for the bread for the family and came back home at 4:00 pm.
While residing in The United State Luckner really and passionately cared and provided for his loved ones. I and my brothers and sisters. He loved to watch soccer and play it too with his kids. He was fan of good soccer. He was very strong, even in his illness.
From an early age, Luckner taught his children how to work hard and save. He taught them to be disciplined and perform well at school. He helped them do their homework. He prepared them for their future. Four years ago, Luckner was diagnosed with ear, nose and throat cancer which will stop him from working. Despite his illness, Luckner was known as someone with a strong spirit who never gave up.
On March 27, 2018, Luckner was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are: His Sons: Daniel Jean Baptiste, Emmanuel Jean-Baptiste, and Daniel Jean-Baptiste; His daughters: Medjyna Jean Baptiste and Lourdia Jean-Baptiste; His brothers: Adler Jean-Baptiste, Marie Rose Michel, Claudette Jean-Baptiste, Louis- Marc Jean-Baptiste.
