Mrs. Marie Vonette Brunelus, was born on May 3, 1978 in Gonaives the daughter of Maxia Oliegnes and Nebius Brunelus. She attended College Jean Jacques Dessalines in Gonaives. In September 2005, she migrated to the USA. She was united in Holy matrimony to Astral Cosmey in March 17, 2012. This union was blessed with four children Kirby, Jeff, Shamar and Sabine.

Marie Vonette was an active member of Eglise Nazareen of Orange, NJ. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life On August 7, 2018 at 4:15 PM at Father Hudson Hospice in Elizabeth, NJ. She was preceded by her father and siblings. Her husband Astral Cosmey will forever cherish her beautiful life, her children Kirby, Jeff, Shamar and Sabine Cosmey. Her mother Maxia Oliegnes, Her brothers Wilson, Roges, Fenel, Tilus Samson Brunelus & family. Her sisters Micheline, Marie Guerdith, Christanie, Rose-Mitha Brunelus & family. Her brothers and sister in- laws Arnold. Cosmey and family, Madsen Cosmey and family, Saintilien Setoute (Dieupanou) and family, Rose, Marie. Cosmey, Jette Cosmey, Saintanise Cetoute, Kesner & Izraelie Benjamin Cosmey and family.

Her nephews and nieces: Wismine Sarah, Samuel, Fenelson, Fedline,Nelcia, Nadia, Dadson, Martin, Esthephanie, Wayanne, Celestin, Djerson, China Brunelus. Ciara, Herby Brunelus. Her cousins:Marlene, Guerlande, Nerla Charles. Chouna ,Edouanette, Nounoune, Walake,Franck, Yolande, Oscar Franssaint. Her aunts and uncles:Fernande, Therana, Thane Placius.
