Raoul Joseph

Fred Saint Amand Jr. would like to extend his deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Raoul Joseph

Raoul Joseph was born April 26, 1954. He has many brothers and sisters. He was the fourth of eight children born to Rose Vierge Paul. Raoul moved to the United States of America in 1976 and  lived in New Jersey until his death on August 9, 2018.  

             Raoul loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of his daughters Ramise, Kyesha and Rose Vierge, his sons, Raoul Jr., Rahim, Ricardo and he adored his two little girls, Radine and Ramahicka. Raoul was married twice and very fortunate to have had three wonderful women in his life as the mothers of his children. His first wife was Shirley the mother of his daughter, Kyesha and son Raoul Jr., his second and current wife is Denise the mother of his daughter Ramise and son Rahim and Pearl the mother of his daughter, Rose Vierge. They all stood by Raoul and supported him during his illness. His sister Renee, brothers, and cousin Jean never left him and were always at his bedside.

Raoul received his formal education in Haiti. He came to America and worked extremely hard to find and achieve success. Raoul independently owned and operated his own taxi service for many years. He also achieved the American dream of owning his own home. He purchased a home for his beloved wife Denise and family. Their home was warm and always opened to family and friends.

Raoul was instrumental in helping many family members transition from Haiti to America. He really enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. 

Raoul knew and loved the Lord. He was always opened for prayer and conversation about our Lord and Savior. As it states in 2 Timothy 4:7 I fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I kept the faith. Raoul fought a good fight and he kept the faith. Now, he is resting peacefully in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Raoul was predeceased by one son, the late Richard R. Joseph, his beloved mother the late Rose Vierge Paul, three brothers the late Pierre Jacques, the late Francois and the late Esler. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife

Denise, five daughters, Ramise, Kyesha, Rose Vierge, Radine and Ramahicka, three sons, Raoul Jr., Rahim and Ricardo, four grandchildren, Jade, Zoey, Jonathan and Jovani Louis three brothers Saintil, Donald and Arioste, 1 sister Renee, the mothers of his children Shirley and Pearl, a host of loving brothers and sistersbrothers-in-law, sisters-in law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Raoul will be sorely missed.
