Rosemarie Ida Thimoleon, known to friends and family as Ida, was born in Haiti on 12/26/1930.
Ida was the Mother of two children Serge Thimoleon and Cluny Colimon. She was the beloved grandmother to one granddaughter Natalie Colimon- Fitzgerald and one great granddaughter Milan Leia Fitzgerald
Ida was a woman of few words, but her presence and pleasant demeanor spoke volumes. Although Ida biologically had 2 children, she was the spiritual mother to many and a true child of God. Ida was a leader, a church officiant, and a true woman of determination and drive.
Born in Haiti, Ida arrived in this country with two goals in mind, live every day as if it were her last and serve God until her last breath. Ida accomplished both goals, she died in prayer as she took her last breath.
Ida was a simple but classy woman who never took no for an answer. English, not being her primary language in a foreign country , presumably would make it difficult to survive and flourish. However, this was not the case, ida accomplished several goals set, she was a fighter, her perseverance allowed her to work for the star ledger and obtain various care giving positions. One major accomplishment was caring for her son daily until his dying day at the age of 27.
Ida was and continues to be an undiscovered Saint, she touched the lives of EVERYONE she encountered. Her smile alone was a light that will forever shine in the lives of those who were blessed to know her.
Ida will always be remembered and missed.
We love you today and always
