Sainyocles Leon was born December 4, 1951 in Latibonit, Haiti. One of six children, he was born to Precise and Paul Leon. The charming jokester was the first in his immediate family to migrate to the United States. While here, he began to plan a life for himself, his sweetheart Sainte Rose Renoit and daughter Chrisma.
He began working in NYP Corporation where he became a skilled machine operator in order to financially support his family. Once able, he sent for his sweetheart and child to come to the states for good, the family was finally reunited. Together the couple planned to expand their family and move into their own home. Being the goal oriented person that he was, he accomplished this and more. Sainyocles and Sainte Rose made sure their children received the education and lifestyle that they were not able to have. Their hard work was not in vain as all of the daughters were college graduates working successfully in their fields.
Sainyocles was a rare breed a very caring, hard working, charming, and lighthearted individual. He was known for his stern facial expression but when he would laugh or smile it would light up the room , which was always genuine. He would often joke around with his daughters while teaching them to always be fair and just as he was taught. Being the family man that he was, he never forgot about his relatives back in Haiti. He always made sure they were taken care of while maintaining a middle class life here in the states. He leaves behind his wife Sainte Rose, his three daughters Jeannelia, Esther, Shanera and several loved family and friends.
