Thelemaque Blaise

Thelemaque Estime "Thele" Blaise was born April 23,1954 in Dessalines, Haiti to parents of Estime Blasie and Casilia Fenelus-Blaise. He grew in a large, loving family with two sisters and four brothers.He graduated from Cente D'etude Classque  Saint-Marc high school.

He immigrated to America on November 8, 1977 to attain a better life for himself and his family in Haiti. He immediately began working for Rotary Pen where he dedicated for over 30 years of service as a skilled machine operator. During his time there, his coworkers who quickly became friends knew him as a hard worker, team player, and jokingly called him "la flaca."

Thelemaque was caring and devoting to family, friends, and even strangers. He had a lighthearted soul and was always filled with laughter. He enjoyed telling stories, making people laugh, and spending quality time with loved ones. He loved thrifting and collecting antiques. He was an avid reader and read the newspaper daily. He was beloved by the community and anyone who encountered him could feel the warmth of his pure kind soul. 

Thelemaque was filled with nothing, but good intentions and generosity.

Despite his battle with cancer, he lived a full and happy life with strength and courage; he never feared or allowed his illness to diminish his spirit. Thelemaque carried his life filled with love, joy, and laughter to the very end. 

On Wednesday April 11, 2018, Thelemaque was called home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Blaise, Joyce Blaise, and Judith Legentus;  His older sister Maire Ange Pierre, brother in law Michelet Pierre, his younger sister Yolanda Blaise and his brother Yveto Blaise; his nieces & nephew: Emilia Pierre, Jeralyn Pierre, Willy Blaise, Angeline Blaise, Yvena Blaise, Sheela W. Blaise, and Martine Blaise, and his uncle Silencient Fenelus.
