Acidony Codio

Acidony Codio was born in a town name Grand Islet Matelas, to Adonis Codio, and Jesula Joseph on April 6,1938. He completed his primary education at L’ecole Saint Antoine directed by Lamartine Coq. He met his wife Anna Codio, that he nicknamed Dame, at 21 years old he married and has 10 children.  He traveled to the United States on June 6,1970.  He worked as a factory worker for Atlas company for a number for years, then as a Cab driver for 37 years prior to his stroke in February 1999. He was a man of God, a devoted husband to his wife. He was loyal to his family, neighbors, his coworker, and friends. He was a peaceful and intelligent man, he worked hard as a cab driver to provide for his family. He enjoyed music and social outings. Shortly after his stroke, he started experience health problem such as congestive heart failure. He died at Jefferson Health Care Center in Sewell, NJ on Tuesday, August 31 from complications of chronic diseases.

He is survived by his brothers: Joseph Codio (deceased), Lamartine Codio, Tessy Codio(deceased), Jumelle and Ducasse Codio(twins), Jean claude Codio, Chesnel Codio,Remy Codio(deceased)  Nasson Codio.

His sisters: Mirala Codio, Poyotte Codio(deceased), Marie Sayola Codio(deceased), Aniotta Codio(deceased), Benita Codio, Aline Codio, 

His children: Pierre Michel Codio, Gene Harold Codio, Frantzen Codio, Vadrice Codio,Wade Codio, Marie Emmanuelle Codio,  Wista Codio, Chantal Codio, Magalie Codio, Mellissa Codio. 

His son in law: Poidevien Joseph, Caryl Andre, Patrick Bauport, David Gilles, Fruitzy Jovanie Buteau. 

Daughter in law: Marie Ange Codio, Marie Carmelle Joseph, Karen Codio,
