Alphonse Jeanmary was born on October 18, 1940 in Thomonde, Haiti parentage of the late Josaphat Jeanmary and Silvina Lalane. After completing his studies in Haiti, he spent his time farming while also teaching others how to plant their crops. He married his wife, Marie Joseph in Mirebalais, Haiti in 1982.
Alphonse came to the United States to reunite with his wife in 1984. While residing in the U.S. he worked two jobs to provide for his family. Alphonse was a God-fearing man who loved Jesus. He was always a loyal committee member to his church. Alphonse never forgot his country. After retirement, he enjoyed vacationing in Haiti yearly.
In his recent years, when meeting with the family on holidays, he has been nothing but the life of the party. While sitting at the head of the dining table, he would always provide great conversations and memories that the whole family would enjoy. On June 25, 2021, just hours after returning from Haiti, Alphonse was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are: his wife, Marie Joseph, his children: Betty Osias, Navita Benjamin, Blanchet Jeanmary and Alex Jeanmary, and his grandchildren: Nataly Benjamin, Nahlia Benjamin, and Lutchini Osias. Alphonse will be remembered for his generosity, humility, and loving kindness.
