Andre Charles graced this world with her presence on December 2, 1930, in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. She was the second of five children born to Autencia Stephen and Dolce Charles, marking the beginning of a life that would touch the hearts of many.
In celebrating Andre's remarkable life, we cherish the memory of a phenomenal mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose boundless love knew no limits. Her nurturing spirit was evident in the countless moments of encouragement and kindness she generously shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
The addition of the specific date, July 10, 2002, adds a touching moment of reunion and connection with her children and grandchildren in the United States. It paints a vivid picture of her role as a teacher and nurturer. Among her many talents, Andre's passed down the art of cooking and baking to her children and grandchildren, creating a legacy that will continue to flourish in their hearts and kitchens. A devoted Protestant, her unwavering faith in God was not only a personal anchor but a guiding light that shone through her active involvement in the church.
Andre's impact extended beyond the kitchen and the pews. She was a source of strength for her family and friends. Offering solace through the reading of scriptures, songs and heartfelt prayers. Her love and devotion will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate to be touched by her warmth and wisdom. Andre a cherished soul peacefully joined the Lord on November 17, 2023, at the age of 92.
Survived by her four children: Mimose Theodore and her husband Adolphe Theodore, Margarette Pierre-Philippe, her husband Erick Pierre-Philippe, Jean Daniel Charles, and Gary Charles. Her cousin Anne Marie Macenat. Andre's legacy lives on through her six grandchildren Dania Kessler, her husband Marcus Kessler, Jerry Pierre-Philippe, his wife Randi Pierre-Philippe, Erina Theodore, Rick Pierre-Philippe, David Theodore and Neaca Charles and her eight great-grandchildren Jadon Pierre-Philippe, Christopher Mouzon, Andrew Pierre-Philippe, Jason Kessler, Emily Kessler, Treston Pierre-Philippe, Cameron Pierre-Philippe & Kendrick Pierre-Philippe who all were cherished recipients of her love. Each name in this family tree is a testament to the enduring bonds she cultivated with each generation.
