In Loving Memory of Andre Pierre Rene
October 23, 1945 – June 26, 2025
Andre Pierre Rene was born on October 23, 1945, in Desdunes, Haiti, to his late parents Pierre Rene and Julienna Previlon. He was the youngest of seven children.
Andre completed his middle school education in Desdunes before marrying the love of his life, Miracia Clairvoyant Rene. A devoted husband and father, he was known for his hard work, strong character, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Andre was a proud farmer who worked the land with diligence and purpose. He cultivated a wide variety of crops—rice, beans, spicy peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, watermelon, and pumpkins—and raised livestock such as cows and pigs. Through his labor, he not only provided for his household but also contributed to his community.
He was a man of principle, both courteous and firm, especially with his children, whom he raised with discipline and love. He deeply valued education and carried himself with dignity and respect.
In 1976, Andre Pierre Rene left his family in Haiti for the United States in search of better opportunities for himself and his family. Due to illness, he returned to Haiti in 1977. In 2008, Andre emigrated to the United States to be reunited with his children. Sadly, he fell ill unexpectedly and, after a brief hospitalization, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Andre leaves behind his beloved wife, Miracia Clairvoyant Rene; twelve children: Lucie Paul, Liliane Rene-Sylney, Andree-Rose Rene, Riphin Pierre, Frantz Suse Rene-Odige, Prophete Rene, Ronald Rene, Octony-Nico Gedeon Pierre, Mildred-Mirlene Rene-Prince, Bianca Pierre, Sherly-Kervine Rene-Joachim, Dieu Pierre Rene, and Manicha Pierre; thirty-two grandchildren; and his siblings: Pierre Saint Pierre-Rene, Asselia Rene-Litus, and his twin sister Juliane Rene-Pompilus.
He is also mourned by his cousins, nieces, nephews, co-brother-in-law Nicolas Gedeon, brothers and sisters-in-law: Mme Odilon Rene, Litilien Litus, and Duton Pompilus, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.
Though his passing, my father leaves a profound void in our hearts, we are comforted by the legacy of love, faith, and strength he leaves behind. We will forever cherish his memory.
May his soul rest in eternal peace
