Anna Bernadin

Anna Bernadin was born on March 18th, 1950, in Port-a-Piment, on the southern coast of Haiti. She was the daughter of Oriman Bernadin (deceased) and Matilia Morose (deceased). She had 2 brothers: Horleman (deceased), Saurel Bernadin and 3 sisters: Germaine, Nicole and Anne Marie.  

Anna lived a life defined by love, strength, and quiet dignity. She was a woman of deep compassion whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her.
Anna was a devoted mother to her only child, Edwin Bernadin, who was the center of her world. She took pride in her role as a mother and nurtured her family with patience, wisdom, and care.
Throughout her life, Anna was known for her kind heart and resilience. she was a volunteer member at the St. Joseph Coalition in Elizabeth New Jersey for many years. Truly St. Joseph was is second family. Anna spent her life helping others even though she was sometimes misunderstood and people were taking advantage of her.

 Anna departed this life on December 26th, 2025, after 10 months of suffering and fighting to stay in this life with her loves one. Though she has gone to her eternal rest, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Anna Bernadin est née le 18 mars 1950 à Port-à-Piment, sur la côte sud d'Haïti. Elle était la fille d'Oriman Bernadin (décédé) et de Matilia Morose (décédée). Elle avait 2 frères: Horleman (décédé), Saurel Bernadin et 3 sœurs : Germaine, Nicole et Anne Marie.

Anna a vécu une vie définie par l'amour, la force et une dignité tranquille. C'était une femme profondément compatissante dont la présence apportait réconfort et chaleur à ceux qui l'entouraient.
Anna était une mère dévouée pour son unique enfant, Edwin Bernadin, qui était le centre de son univers. Elle était fière de son rôle de mère et nourrissait sa famille avec patience, sagesse et soin.

Tout au long de sa vie, Anna était reconnue pour son cœur généreux et sa résilience. Elle a été bénévole à la Coalition Saint Joseph à Elizabeth, dans le New Jersey, pendant de nombreuses années. Saint Joseph était véritablement comme une seconde famille pour elle. Anna a consacré sa vie à aider les autres, même si elle était parfois incomprise et exploitée par certaines personnes.
 

Anna nous a quittés le 26 décembre 2025, après 10 mois de souffrance et de lutte pour rester parmi ses proches. Bien qu'elle soit partie pour son repos éternel, sa mémoire continuera de vivre dans le cœur de sa famille, de ses amis et de tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de la connaître. Elle nous manquera profondément et restera à jamais dans nos mémoires.
