Mrs. Berthe Sanon was born on January 30, 1933, in Cape Haitian, Haiti. Her parents were Lamadieu Fils, and Prima Florville. She was the third of four children; she also had two deceased half-brothers and a deceased half sister. She was a devoted mother to her only daughter Jacqueline, a devoted grandmother to her three grandchildren, and above all a devoted Christian. She loved God and was very engaged in her church; she was loved by everyone.
Mrs. Berthe was a talented dress maker, who loved to dress stylishly everywhere she went. She was also a very good cook who loved to host family and friends in her home. Mrs. Berthe was an entrepreneur in the import export business while living in Haiti. She traveled to several island countries for her export business.
Mrs. Berthe was married to the late Mr. Kerdavid Sanon in the late 1980s, a year later she moved to the US with her daughter and husband. While living in the US, she became a Christian. Thereafter, she devoted her life to Christ and the church. She was an active member of her church in Long Island NY, and she kept in touch with several members up until her recent passing. She became a member of the Salem French Adventist church in 2014, when she moved to New Jersey, there she was loved by many and participated in many programs in the church, she served as a deacon in the church. She was very close to several members of the church; they became like family to her. She loved helping and cooking in the kitchen whenever there’s an event in the church. In her late 80s, she moved back to Pennsylvania to be with her daughter because of her failing health. Despite her struggle with her health, she remained a devoted member of the church, by engaging and participating remotely with the church and the members. She loves reading the bible and teaching her grandchildren about the bible. Despite her illness Mrs. Berthe was known as a resilient person with a strong spirit who never gave up. In her daughter's arms and caregiver, she passed away peacefully at her home.
On January 14, 2025, Mrs. Berthe was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of her wonderful life are;

Her Son in Law: Roosevelt Fleurant
Her Three grandchildren: Roodrickson Fleurant, Casilda Fleurant, Rodner Fleurant
Her living Sister: Mrs. Jeannine Lamadieu and her five children, grandchildren and great grandchild
And several other nieces and nephews and their children.
