Chadesky Nicolas Paul was a bright and compassionate soul whose presence brought light and warmth to everyone around him. Known to those who loved him simply as “Chad” or “Chachu” to his most intimate family, he was a man of deep integrity, joy, and love — a protector in every sense of the word.
Born on September 15, 1997, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Destin and Mirlande “Fila” Nicolas Paul, Chad was a cherished son who grew up surrounded by the strong values of family, respect, and service. He was the beloved older brother to Boris and Matthew Nicolas Paul, a role he embraced with pride, devotion, and endless love. Chad was not only a brother, but a guide, protector, and lifelong friend.
Chad graduated from Hillside Highschool in 2015 and then graduated Union County College with a degree in Public Health, marking an early milestone in a life defined by ambition and heart. He proudly enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2018 as a combat medic, serving with distinction and honor until his discharge in February 2025. His military service reflected the very essence of who he was: committed, courageous, and selfless.
Yet beyond his achievements, Chad will be remembered most for the way he made others feel. He had an infectious presence — a beautiful smile that could brighten any room, a laugh that echoed joy, and a heart that loved fiercely and protected endlessly. Whether family, friend, or stranger, Chad had a way of making people feel safe, seen, and valued.
He was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 4, 2025. He is survived by his loving parents, Destin and Mirlande Nicolas Paul; his brothers, Boris and Matthew Nicolas Paul; and many devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply.
As we mourn his passing, we take comfort in the words of the Bible:
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, sorrow, or crying." — Revelation 21:4
This tribute is a celebration of a life that, though far too brief, was filled with purpose, connection, and love. Chadesky Nicolas Paul will never be forgotten — his memory lives on in every life he touched and every heart he held close.
