Danielle Gaspard Hilaire was born November 2nd, 1962, in Cap Haitien, Haiti to the late Marthe Regis and Gaspard Hilaire. She was one of the "Lucky 7" siblings: Maco, Herbert, Alin, Toto, Antoine, Danielle, and Aly. At the age of 26, Danielle embarked on a journey to the United States in 1989.
In 1991, Danielle met Phenix Jeanty, the love of her life, and they married two years later, on July 3rd, 1993. Over their 31 years of marriage, they were blessed with three wonderful children: Rasheda D. Jeanty, Jason P. Jeanty, and Jalissa L. Jeanty. Together, Danielle and Phenix devoted themselves to creating a nurturing environment for their family. They raised their children in the church, fostered relationships with extended family through annual trips, and instilled in their children's values of strength, loyalty, and kindness.
Danielle found a welcoming community at Arbor Glen Nursing Center, where she forged enduring friendships over three decades.
Known for her boundless love and kindness, Danielle had a heart for hospitality, often opening her home to those in need with a warm smile and an invitation to stay as long as necessary. Her love was expressed through her cooking, always asking if her guests enjoyed the meals she prepared and beamed when it was an obvious yes.
Danielle's kindness was a divine gift, and she never hesitated to show up for the people she cared about.
On Sunday, July 14th, 2024, Danielle Jeanty peacefully journeyed home, leaving behind her beloved husband, children, brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and cherished friends. Her memory will endure through the community she nurtured and the love she shared with all who were fortunate to know her.
