It is with profound sadness and hearts full of love that we announce the passing of Devin Michael Slack, who left this world on May 14, 2026 to be reunited with his mother, Ellen Margaret May, in heaven. Born on August 28, 1988 in Dover, New Jersey, Devin lived a life as vibrant and unforgettable as the person he was.

Devin was a beloved son, cherished brother, devoted grandson, loving uncle, treasured nephew, adoring god son, loyal cousin, and a true friend to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was also a proud godfather to Izzy’s son, a role he carried with love and devotion.

He had a rare and beautiful gift, the ability to walk into any room and make it lighter. His humor was one of a kind, his laughter was contagious, and his presence was something people simply never forgot.

He loved music deeply, finding in it a language that went beyond words. He had an artist’s eye and a creative spirit, expressing himself in ways that left something lasting behind. Whether through a song, a piece of art, or simply the way he lived, Devin had a way of making the world feel more colorful.

Those who knew him best knew that Devin lived life to the fullest on his own terms, with his whole heart, and without apology. He squeezed every bit of joy out of every moment, and in doing so, he gave those around him permission to do the same.

He will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure every day that follows.
