Dieunord Sanon, a devoted husband, father and grandfather peacefully departed this life and entered eternal rest on November 10, 2025, He was 77 years old.
He was born on January 08,1948, to parents Genia Paul and Dieuffe Sanon in Brodequin Haiti, a commune of Aquin in the Southern part of Haiti.
Port-au-Prince is whereas an apprentice under Previus Michaud, Sanon excelled as a tailor, specializing in suit making for every walk of life. Sanon was skillful as a sewing machine repairman. Repairing industrial sewing machines such as Juki, Vevor and Monroe. Sanon continued his employment in Haiti, overseeing several factories in Haiti located in Park Industrial, Aéroport, and Cité Soleil.
Arriving in the United States in 1991, Sanon continued his committed work ethic he accepted employment with Sidmar Management Corporation for ten years holding the position of porter with Burger King. North Jersey became his home as Sanon worked for Marsan Incorporated in Dayton, NJ, in a supervisor position. Newark, New Jersey airport would become his last job before retirement.
Sanon became an active member of at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Newark where he was a member of the Men’s Group and the Mass Choir.
Sanon life was more than work, he is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Francoise Clervil Sanon.
Sanon is also survived by his children, Michele (Michou) Gina Sanon and Guillaume Renaud of Paris, France, Sonia Borgella and Petit Jean Baptist Simeon of Montreal, Canada, Samuel Pamphile of Newark New Jersey and Ruth of Haiti, Stepson Jean Clervil of Union NJ, Sister-in-law, Erose Clervil Dormel of Irvington, NJ, Brother- in -law Joseph Bourjolly Clervil, Joseph Andre Clervil of Union NJ
He is also remembered with love by his grandchildren Joelle Renaud, Julie Renaud, Danah Sophie Pamphile, Saina Deys Borgella, Zath Darcy Simeon, and Saroudjie Anne Simeon and by his younger brother Savan Sanon.
Sanon devoted cousins Jacqueline Coulanges, Rolande Coulanges, Rev. Emmanuel Paul, Wilfrid Paul, Wilkins Paul, Naomie Myers, Alcide Pierre along with a host of nieces and nephews as well as his Ebenezer Baptist Church Family.
Sanon will be deeply missed. Sanon legacy of service, love, and community spirit will continue to inspire all who were blessed to have known him.
