Edwin Polynice

Edwin Polynice was called home after a long battle with several diseases on April 14, 2022. He was born to his late mother Elmathe Alexandre and father Elpul Polynice who is deceased.

On November 15, 1978, Edwin started his primary school in Ebenezer in Fonds-Parisien. Later in 1990, he left Fonds-Parisien with his siblings and moved to Port au Prince. There he attended his secondary at Lycee Petion. Edwin was a member of l’Eglise de Dieu in Delmas 40B, led by Pastor Miliance. Edwin was so loved by this church family, never missed a rehearsal meeting, he always meets with youth to discuss church activities. Edwin and his friend Bigens used to be call Pastor by so many in the church, because they took their responsibilities very serious.

In April of 1998, He migrated to the United States and lived in East Orange with his siblings and other families. He attended High school in East Orange High, later attended Essex County College and earned an associate degree in science. He continued to pursue his education and attended Rutgers Universities in New Brunswick, earned another degree in Biology/French.  Edwin was a great hard worker, a great leader, also known as a great supervisor at T.G I Fridays and Applebees for a decade year. Edwin was a great team worker, a great man of love to everyone, a great character, a great man of humor who never say NO to anyone, a great smile at all times.

Edwin left behind 3 children: Edwina Polynice, Jennifer Polynice and Aidens Polynice. His Siblings:  Wisna Polynice, Elmise Polynice, Nehemie Polynice, Kenley Polynice, Father side: Pedro Polynice, Louicille Polynice and Emmanuel Polynice. Aunt: Neliane Alexandre, Micana Sauval Alexandre, Marie Bonny Polynice, Jasmine Polynice and Jeanne Pierre, Edwin will also be miss by all lovely cousins, Uncle and friends.
