Elaine Ernesta Estwick

Elder Elaine Ernesta Estwick affectionately known as “Aunt Laine” age 73, late of 200 Premier Court, Somerset, New Jersey, United States of America and formerly of 1st Avenue Alkins Land, Eagle Hall, St Michael entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Overlook Hospital.

She was born on September 6, 1952, to the late Evanston and Viladora Archer.

Elaine, after completing her studies at the St. Leonard’s Secondary Girl’s School in Barbados, worked in the hospitality industry - Welcome Inn Hotel was her longest stint and final employ before she migrated to the USA. In the USA, she worked for several years as a private baby-sitter for the Ulberall family, forming an unbreakable bond and friendship which transcends her time here with us.  She later transitioned to the medical field.

A devoted wife of Rudolph Estwick and mother of Rochelle Estwick.

Sister of Eleanor, Michael, Joan and Wayne Archer, Margaret Estwick and the late George Archer.

Beloved Aunt of Deborah, Sophia, Ronnie and Nadia Archer, David, Sharon and Yvette Estwick and Adina Clarke. Great-Aunt of Jason, Rashawn, Rajad, Dominic and Mylon Archer, Tristan and Shaquilla Clarke and Tyler Thompson. Great-Great-Aunt of Syon Germaine and Trazia Coward. Cousin of Jeanette Merritt, Marcia, Heather and Rosalind Todd and Anita and Anthony Bispham.

Sister-in-law of Marva and Carolyn Archer, Costella Cave, Orpah Walcott, Honor Headley and Bismark Cyrus of the UK. Stepdaughter-in-law Mona Carter, wife of her late stepson Shawn Carter.

Adoptive grandmother of Shamone, Danielle and Gabrielle Carter. Adoptive aunt of Kim Headley.
