Franck Belizaire Obituary

Frank Belizaire was born on May 10th, 1942 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After spending his childhood in Haiti, he had moved to the United States to seek a better life filled with opportunities. He settled in Florida for a few years until he had made the decision to move to New Jersey in 1981. In the state he would soon call home, he met Gladisse who had soon become just like family to him. She helped him significantly, her kindness and caring personality is what led him to see her as family. He ended up being a resident of New Jersey for around 40 years where he eventually found and married his wife, Chantal.

Frank was a hardworking man whose priority lied in taking good care of his entire family (specifically his brothers, sisters, children, nieces, nephews, and his wife). He also made sure that he was there for his friends.

He enjoyed listening to Ranchera music which he would often dance to and he had also spent a good amount of time playing poker.

He had one daughter, Marie Francoise Belizaire; He also had two Granddaughters, Sherina and Tahina Petion.

Before he had passed away, Frank had been in and out of Hospitals due to cancer. Around this time, he had reconnected with his Daughter after many years and had finally met his two granddaughters. His only daughter, Marie had decided that it would be best for him to be placed in a hospital nearby her and his grandchildren. He had moved with her to New York where he stayed with his family. There, his family did everything in their power to take care of him until it was necessary for him to be taken to the hospital.

He had received great care from the Doctors and Nurses in the hospital as well as in the nursing home located in New York. He was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and Lung Cancer which unfortunately led him to pass away on July 27, 2021.

Although his granddaughters did not know their grandfather very long, they enjoyed his presence for a short period of time and will always remember how funny and caring he was. Frank would often greet his granddaughters (and his daughter) by gently slapping his hand against theirs back and forth after he had lost his eyesight. He constantly made sure that his granddaughters had gotten food to eat. He was very appreciative and would constantly thank them for doing things for him even if it were as small as giving him water to drink.

While Frank was taken a bit too soon, he will always be remembered as a loving, caring, funny, and hardworking husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. May he Rest In Peace. Our Beloved, Frank Belizaire, you will be missed.
