Freddy L. Michel

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Freddy Lee-Andrew Michel. He left us on May 26, 2025, at the age of 25.

Freddy was one of a kind—funny, kind, stubborn in the best way, and always the first to show up when someone needed help. Born and raised in West Orange and Jackson, New Jersey, he was the kind of guy who brightened up an entire room and you could never forget the sound of his signature laugh. He was always cracking jokes amongst friends and family at gatherings  and full of life.

After graduating from Jackson Memorial High School, he attended Ocean County College and worked as an EMT. In his spare time, he was an avid sneaker collector, a film enthusiast and anime fan. But more than anything, Freddy loved and cherished his friends and family. He was a proud and protective little brother, and a great friend. He had a big heart and an even bigger laugh—both of which we’ll miss forever.

Freddy is survived by his father, mother and two brothers: Fred, Guylene, Rudolph and Nicholas. A long list of cousins, aunts, and uncles and close friends who were more like family.

Today we celebrate Freddy’s life on Saturday, June 14, 2025. We invite a few families and friends to come share stories, laughter, and love.

Freddy, you were our rock, our supporter, and a beacon of happiness and love. We’ll carry your spirit with us always and forever and uphold the family legacy.

Rest easy, brother.
