It is with a heavy heart that we remember Guerline, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many. She was born on July 8, 1974, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, to Sidamene Jean-Charles and Louisius Louis. Guerline's dedication to her studies was inspiring, completing them at the young age of 18. She left her home country at age 26 to pursue nursing at Essex County College in Newark, NJ. Guerline was an exceptional student who was fluent in multiple languages including English, Creole, and French.
Guerline's love for her family was unwavering. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children and always took the time to cook for them, making their favorite meals, from morning eggs to night desserts. In her free time, she found solace in watching Sunday church sermons, including those by Joel Osteen.
From a young age, Guerline instilled in her children the importance of doing what is right and being responsible by doing chores and cleaning up after themselves. She also taught them the value of helping those in need by often donating clothes and giving food to the less fortunate. Her kindness and generosity were unmatched, and her example of what it means to be a righteous and God-fearing person will forever live on.
Despite battling cancer, Guerline remained strong and courageous, fighting every day until her passing on February 5, 2024. Her spirit will always be remembered by her son, Nodlyn Cajuste, daughter, Nayanka Cajuste, and husband, Nosman Cajuste. We honor her legacy and send our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. God called her one of his angels, and she will always watch us. Nodlyn Cajuste (son), Nayanka Cajuste (daughter), and Nosman Cajuste(husband) are sharing the memories of her remarkable life.
