Imencie “Pam” Philippe-Jeune was born on February 6th, 1951, in Desdunes, Haiti to the parentage of the late Philius Philippe and Rosalia Raymond. Imencie entered the United States of America on April 20th, 1973, at the young age of 22 to reunite with her husband, Cevouloir Jeune.
From a tender age, Imencie was very hands-on with everything, independent, and a go-getter. Imencie gave birth to seven kids and five are still with us today: Michael, Rudolph, Winbush, Watkins, and her only daughter Diane Jeune. Imencie had no problem helping others despite having her own storms to walk through in her life.
Imencie had a life of unremarkable work ethic. Imencie started to work at Durex on January 10th, 1979 and remained beyond loyal and determined to Durex as a machine operator until April 13th, 2016. Imencie’s legacy of hard work and passion will be remembered and admired for generations to come.
Imencie enjoyed traveling, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, as well as lottery scratch offs. She found her peace in cooking, cleaning, and giving everyone food to eat whether they were hungry or not. Imencie also had a profound love for Atlantic City. It was also very common to find Imencie in her room watching Family Fued, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and the news.
Imencie made sure her presence was known in any and every room she stepped foot in. She was one to always speak her mind and let everyone know how she felt. Imencie had a signature look that let people know exactly what was on her mind.
On July 13th, 2023, Imencie was called home by God. Imencie is now reunited with her late husband, Cevouloir Jeune. Imencie will be remembered by her children: Micheal “Papooch”, Rudolph “WoWo”, Diane “TiDa”, Winbush, and Watkins.
Her grandchildren: Yasmeena, Desiree, Joseph “Junior”, Sydney, Elijah, Syaney, Syarra, Justin, Roberce “Demi”, Aaron, Cam’ron, and Ezekiel
Her great grandchildren: Marcus, Maliah, Zakai, and Khodi
Bon voyage, Imencie Jeune.
