Lè li te gen 15 an, apre lanmò papa li, Innocent te ale viv ak granpapa li, Senmwen Pierre Philippe, kote li te ale lekòl nan Ecole Grand Boulevard.
Apre li te fini lekòl, Innocent te kòmanse lavi li kòm yon peyizan ki te konn kiltive diri, li te yon moun ki respektye ak renome nan zone nan. Avèk anpil travay di ak detèminasyon, li te bati pwòp moulen diri pa li. An 1968, li te rankontre Marguerite, yon moun li te renmen anpil e ki vin tounen madanm li pou tout lavil. Yo te gen premye pitit gason yo ansanm an 1970 ki te gentan ale jwenn bondjye.

Innocent Pierre known commonly to most as “Ti-nocent” was born on July 21, 1949 to Joseph Pierre-Philippe and Josephine St. Luis in L’Artibonite, Haiti. At the age of 15 after the death of his father Innocent went to live with his grandfather Senmwen Pierre Philippe, where he attended Ecole Grand Boulevard. After completing school, he began life as a respected and prominent rice farmer. Through his hard work and resilience, he built his own rice mill. In 1968 he met Margaurite the women he would spend the rest of his life with. They had their first son together in 1970. Working hand and hand with his wife he provided a life for his children sending them to Port-au-Prince to complete their education. Ensuing his children never lacked anything he sent monthly provisions in abundance. Although he never liked the city that did not stop him from making sure his children were provided for. Innocent not only cared for his wife and children but he also made it his responsibility to care for his sisters, helping them secure traveling opportunities into the United States. As life continued Innocent worked diligently, hiring up to 10 locals in his community harvesting rice. His work also allowed the traveling possibilities for his children so they could create the life they wanted for themselves. In 2006 Innocent migrated into the United States, where he was doing assembly work while traveling back to Haiti on occasion to enjoy the fruits of his labor and spend time with is children and grandchildren. On May 2, 2025 after being admitted to St. Barnabas Hospital for nearly 2 weeks Innocent succumbed to a brain hemorrhage. Innocent leaves behind a legacy of hard work and perseverance that he instilled in his family, his presence will be missed. Innocent leaves behind Sister: Falicity (deceased), Marie-Anne Francois. Children: Wisnick (deceased), Guerlande, Wilguens (deceased), Joral, Dieulfaite, Willy, Eder (deceased), Inobert, Josiane, Marie-Kertlyne (deceased), Keddy, Kettelie, Inodeline, Rodemise, Rogino, and Roldiana. Grandchildren: Marc-Kenley, Guivensen, Sherwood, Jahvon, Ashley, Novensky, Cece, Kourtney, Berline, Jessica, Nahenlae, Frantzcess, Angelina, Anne-Lycha, Calixte, Rodner, Ducasse, John-Schwatzer, Berlensky, Bikenseley, Bebe, Anaya, Ederson, Calandgena, Jeannvensky, Jael, Athalie, and Anaika. Great-grandchildren: Djokencia.
