Innocia Jean Jacques Glaude

Innocia Jean Jacques Glaude, affectionately known as “Tant”, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2024, due to cardiovascular complications. She was 75 years old.

Born on August 25, 1949, in Desdunes, Haiti, Innocia was the beloved daughter of the late Viergella Pompilus and Jacques Glaude. She is survived by her daughter, Marijo Piercin, and ten grandchildren: Jordens Pierre Paul, Jhaliya Pierre Paul, Grace Pierre Paul, Noedlie Pierre Paul, Malisha Jean-Baptiste, Denilson Pierre Paul, Mithania Pierre Paul, Falienne Pierre Paul, Carla Michel, Thania Piercin, Stanley Piercin, and Bendesh Joseph. Additionally, she leaves behind five brothers: Gistinville Glaude (known as “Plim”), Wilfride Glaude, Milford Glaude, Sergo Glaude, Brunel Glaude; and three sisters: Maurinette Jean-Baptiste, Yfaudia Glaude (known as “Fofo”), and Marie Glaude (known as “Ti Mari Jacques”). She is also mourned by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Innocia was a devoted mother who is now reunited with four of her children who have passed: Wilman Pierre Paul, Nickson Pierre Paul, Wiseline Pierre Paul, and Esther Joseph. Her family is heartbroken by her loss and struggles to comprehend the deep void she leaves behind. Those who knew Innocia were touched by her kindness, sense of humor, and gentle spirit. She was truly a peacemaker and a constant source of positivity. Friends and family fondly remember her as kind, loving, caring, warm, and wonderful.

Innocia was selfless, always putting others before herself. She was cherished by her family, who are grateful for the precious time they had with her. Her life was an example to many, and she was a shining light to all who knew her. As you remember Innocia Jean Jacques Glaude, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Let her life be a reminder that life is fragile and should be lived to the fullest.

She will be deeply missed, more than words could ever express, and will live on forever in our hearts.
