Iraine G. Alexandre

Iraine Alexandre, aged 67, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024, at 2:16 PM at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey.

Iraine was born on February 25, 1957, in L’estere, Artibonite, Haiti. She was the beloved daughter of Theresias Gelin and Adelina Antoine. Iraine was the tenth of eleven children, sharing her childhood with her beloved siblings: Resia Gelin (deceased), Onondieu Gelin, Joseph Gelin, Jean Gelin, (deceased), Marie Claire Charles, Josema Gelin, Rene Gelin, Milie Codiot, Presendieu Gelin, and Fleurissaint Gelin.

Iraine and her family migrated to the United States of America on September 20,1995. Upon her arrival, she worked tirelessly to create a nurturing environment for her entire family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and an honorable woman who was loved and respected by everyone who knew her.

Iraine's unwavering faith, as a Jehovah's Witness, was a guiding light that shaped her every action and interaction. She was an active and passionate participant in all activities at her local Kingdom Hall. Her commitment to her faith was not just a belief but a way of living that she embraced wholeheartedly until her final days.

She was a faithful wife of 48 years to Dieulemene Alexandre, a devoted mother to her five children, and a loving grandmother to her fourteen grandchildren. Iraine took immense pride in the achievements of her children and the loving families they created.

Her family includes Nerlande Alexandre and her husband Leonel Eliska; (Hannah, Lucas and Brandon); Kerby Alexandre and his wife Chantal Lamontagne; (Skylar, Kelsie and Kylie); Wilguer Alexandre and his wife Daphnee Paul Alexandre; (William and Olivia); Celine Alexandre-Dure and her husband Jay Dure; (Bradley, Cayden and Keziah); Dieuvance Alexandre and his wife Peggy Idophene Alexandre (Miranda, Donovan and Novalyn) along with her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will deeply miss her.

As we gather to honor Iraine's Alexandre life, let us remember her legacy of faith, love, and devotion. Her memory will be forever cherished and celebrated by all who knew her. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of so many people, and she will be greatly missed.

Iraine est née le 25 février 1957 à L'Estère, dans l'Artibonite, en Haïti. Elle était la fille bien-aimée de Theresias Gelin et d'Adelina Antoine. Iraine était la dixième de onze enfants, partageant son enfance avec ses frères et sœurs bien-aimés : Resia Gelin (décédée), Onondieu Gelin, Joseph Gelin, Jean Gelin, (décédé), Marie Claire Charles, Josema Gelin, René Gelin, Milie Codiot, Presendieu Gelin et Fleurissaint Gelin.

Iraine et sa famille ont émigré aux États-Unis d'Amérique le 20 septembre 1995. À son arrivée, elle a travaillé sans relâche pour créer un environnement stimulant pour toute sa famille. Elle était une épouse aimante, une mère dévouée et une femme honorable qui était aimée et respectée par tous ceux qui la connaissaient.

La foi inébranlable d'Iraine, en tant que Témoin de Jéhovah, était un phare qui guidait chacune de ses actions et de ses interactions. Elle participait activement et passionnément à toutes les activités de la Salle du Royaume de sa localité. Son engagement envers sa foi n'était pas seulement une croyance, mais un mode de vie qu'elle a adopté de tout son cœur jusqu'à ses derniers jours.

Elle était une épouse fidèle de Dieulemène Alexandre pendant 48 ans, une mère dévouée à ses cinq enfants et une grand-mère aimante à ses quatorze petits-enfants. Iraine était extrêmement fière des réalisations de ses enfants et des familles aimantes qu'ils ont créées.

Sa famille comprend Nerlande Alexandre et son mari Leonel Eliska ; (Hannah, Lucas et Brandon) ; Kerby Alexandre et son épouse Chantal Lamontagne ; (Skylar, Kelsie et Kylie) ; Wilguer Alexandre et son épouse Daphnée Paul Alexandre ; (William et Olivia) ; Céline Alexandre-Dure et son mari Jay Dure ; (Bradley, Cayden et Keziah) ; Dieuvance Alexandre et son épouse Peggy Idophene Alexandre (Miranda, Donovan et Novalyn) ainsi que ses neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis bien-aimés manqueront beaucoup.

Alors que nous nous réunissons pour honorer  la vie d'Iraine Alexandre, souvenons-nous de son héritage de foi, d'amour et de dévotion. Sa mémoire sera à jamais chérie et célébrée par tous ceux qui l'ont connue. Sa gentillesse et sa compassion ont touché la vie de tant de gens, et elle nous manquera beaucoup.
