Jacques Garcon was born on July 26, 1966 in Saint Louis du Nord, Haiti to the late Rameau Garcon and Adelrose Valerie Saint-Victor. In addition to Jacques his parents also gave birth to Jacques younger brother Rodney “Ti Josef” Garcon (deceased).
Jacques was an intelligent man and attended Inaghei-Université in Port-au-Prince, Haiti from 1989-1993 where he studied “gestion des affaires” (Business Management). After his studies, Jacques became involved in the political arena and served as the former Deputy representing Saint Louis du Nord from 1995-1999.
Jacques came to the United States under his diplomatic visa and eventually became a permanent resident after his first marriage. Jacques' love for his home country Haiti could never keep him away and he continually travelled back and forth between New Jersey, Florida and Haiti throughout the years. Jacques married Dieula Louissant May 26, 2005 and later separated.
While residing in the U.S. Jacques spent time preparing taxes for individuals with RJM Tax Preparation Services. Jacques also worked for the offices of the Minister of Social Affairs from 2016-2017. In addition to preparing taxes, upon his return to New Jersey in 2020 until his demise, Jacques was an independent contractor with UBER.
Jacques loved his friends and family, enjoyed laughing and making people laugh. He was a man of principle who was greatly appreciated by his loved ones.
On Sunday March 28, 2021 Jacques departed from this life. He will forever be cherished by his loved ones. Sharing the memories of his life are: Dieula Louissant-Garcon (estranged wife), Jean Rigaud Garcon (Brother) and family, Marie Nanette Joseph (Maternal Aunt) and family, Betty Eliodor (Cousin) and family, Navarre Garcon (Cousin)and family, Scheldine Simeon (God-Daughter), Cousins from the Pierre-Philippe Family (Janine, Lucille, Yvon, Eric, Judith, Hugues,) Bergame “Wilner” Augustave (Cousin) and family, Beckner Magnant (Best-Friend)and family, Jean-Lori Caprice (Best-Friend) and family, Semelfort Family, Clerizier Family and a host of friends and family.
