Jean Carlo Joseph

Jean Carlo Joseph entered eternal rest on July 11, 2021, at the age of 72, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Marie Carmen Jean & Antonio Joseph, Jean Carlo made his presence in the world on November 18, 1947, in Port au Prince, Haiti. He spent his childhood years in Haiti where he attended Ecole Jean 23 for primary school and Lycee Alexandra Petion for his secondary schooling.

Jean Carlo emigrated to the United States in 1972 where he spent the rest of his years continuing on his legacy. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.  Thereafter, he began his professional career as a mechanical engineer for Lockheed Martin.  Jean Carlo went on to work as a taxicab driver and a truck driver. He loved being on the road and meeting new people. 

Jean Carlo spent his time making others smile and laugh, and we can’t forget the endless amount of Sudoku games he’s played! Jean Carlo would also spend his spare time exercising to staying fit, loving on his grandchildren, and watching his 3 favorite sport teams, the Jets, Mets, & Nets.  No matter what struggles or speed humps life threw in front of him, he always conquered. He would say, life goes on. He was an amazing father, great friend, and a loving partner.  To his extended family and friends back home In Croix des missions, La plaine, Haiti, he was affectionately known as “Obama”.  

Jean Carlo Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Joseph and Marie Carmen Jean, his brother Vanel Clermont, and his son, Jean Carlo Joseph Jr. 

Jean Carlo leaves behind, Vivian Jean Joseph, Marie Anna Satine.

Children: Lovens Jean Joseph, Naica Crystel Joseph, Jean Romy Blanc, Gerard Blanc, Chris Durham.

Grandchildren: Jabriel Donte Joseph, Nyah Marie Joseph, Kalel Carl Joseph, Kayla Nicole Joseph, RaMello Ackee Boston, Jeremy David Carmillio Blanc, Jonas Theophil Blanc, Jasbir LeBlanc Blanc, Sa-Sandoryn Blanc.
