Jean Christian Jean-Louis, aged 92, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, in Elizabeth, NJ, surrounded by his beloved family.

Born on April 3, 1931, to Elalie Bertrand and Premier Jean Louis in Leogane, Haiti, Jean's early life was marked by a profound dedication to his craft. Growing up in Bire, he shared his skills as a seamstress and tailor, delighting in the art of fashion and passing on his knowledge to eager young minds.

Jean's life was intertwined with the love of his life, Rose Marie Jean Louis, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage and the joy of raising three children: Marie Guerdie Jean Louis, Marie lmmacula Jean Louis, and Smith Jean Louis. He was a devoted parent who believed deeply in the transformative power of hard work and education.

Renowned for his unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence, Jean instilled in his children the virtues of perseverance, integrity, and discipline. He believed wholeheartedly in pushing them to achieve their fullest potential, guiding them with a gentle yet firm hand along life's path.

In moments of respite, Jean found solace in the company of his cherished grandsons and in journeys back to his homeland, Haiti, where memories of his youth intertwined with the vibrant colors of the Caribbean.

Jean Christian Jean Louis leaves behind his cherished wife, Rose Marie Jean Louis, his loving children, Marie Guerdie Jean Louis, Marie lmmacula Jean Louis, and Smith Jean Louis, as well as his adored grandchildren, Mitchell Constant, Dimitri Celestin, and Dylan Celestin. He is also survived by his dear sister, Marie Jean Louis, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Though he has departed from this world, Jean's spirit of hard work, devotion, and discipline will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will serve as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.
