Jean Claude Mombrun

Jean Claude Bozor was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on December 28, 1958 to the late Alberique Bozor and Georgina Mombrun.

Jean Claude came to the United States in 1989 to join his brother Solon. A few years later he returned to Haiti to marry his sweetheart Marie Lucienne Marc Julles, whom he brought to the U.S. a few years later. He worked at the hospital center at Orange as a support assistant for Environmental Services for 11 years. In 2004, he opened a transportation business with his brother Solon for school children and stopped working after a massive stroke that left him paralyzed 5 years ago.

Jean Claude was known as a loving brother, uncle, and cousin. He was also known for his kindness, generosity, and compassion. He was always willing to help anyone in need. His warmth and selflessness touched countless family members, friends, and neighbors.

On Tuesday June 11, 2026 after a long courageous battle, the Lord called him home.

Jean Claude leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marie Lucienne Mombrun, his brother Jean Wilson Bozor (Solon), his sisters Nicole Bozor Lamarre, Marie Rosemonde Bozor, and Marie Lourdes Bozor. He also leaves behind several beloved nieces, Fabienne Bozor Exume, Gloria Bozor, Luca Lamarre, Sofia Lamarre, nephews Rocky Lamarre, and Jerry Lamarre.

Though our hearts are broken by his absence we rejoice in knowing that he is no longer suffering and now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

Jean Claude will be missed.
