Jean Rodrigue Ciceron’s journey began on August 25, 1957 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is the youngest of nine children of the late Fritz and Similia Ciceron.
Ambitious and motivated, Jean committed himself to making the most of what life has to offer. His desire for traveling, guided him from Haiti to France, New York, then New Jersey, and everywhere in between. His passion for learning fueled his fluency in Creole, English, French, and Spanish. His attention to detail served him as a computer technician and health enthusiast. And his love for basketball was not scarred by the New York Knicks because of Steph Curry and the Warriors.
Throughout Jean’s journey, Skah Shah played as the soundtrack to his life. From his first listen, to when he met his wife, and until he transitioned on October 19, 2021, Skah Shah was always #1.
Despite battling with his health, Jean found the strength to fight. His determination to provide his children with educational opportunities he did not have was one of his life goals. Two college graduates later serve as confirmation his efforts were not in vain.
Now, his spirit lives on through his wife, Marise Ciceron, his children, Katiuscia and Rodgino Ciceron, his siblings, Antonio Ciceron and Marise Louis, and all of his family and friends.
