Jeanamil Chery

 Amil Chery was born on April 1st,1933 in Grand-Goave, Haiti to Amitis Chery (Father) and Amicile Simon (Mother). After his mother passed, he moved to Port-Au-Prince at the age of 16, where he taught himself how to fix cars and became a skilled mechanic. He worked for shell companies as a mechanic for over 20 years. Amil moved to the United States in his early 50s, where he worked as a housekeeper for several years. Amil was a family man, who was always available to help anyone in need. Amil was married for over 60 years to his beloved wife Marie Chery, who passed away in December 2022.  Amil was called home on April 24th, 2024, to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are:
