Obituary
Jeannilia E. Raymond was born on March 24th, 1935, in Glanvillia, Dominica to the late St. John Walter & Dorcenise Micheal. Jeannilia married the love of her life Vincent Raymond and raised 10 children together.
Jeannilia fulfilled her dream of moving her entire family to the United States to establish a better life. She settled in Newark, NJ in 1986. She became a Care Manager at an assisted living facility. Out of her love for children she became a foster parent along with her husband for many years.
Jeanillia was not only a loving mother and wife but also a devout Christian and a devoted member of the Good Neighbor Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. She was beloved by her family, friends and all those who's lives she touched.She always filled the house with her beautiful singing voice every chance she could.She will be remembered for her generosity and kind heart.
Jeannilia leaves a legacy of love to her daughters Margaret-Rose Raymond, Shermaine Raymond, Angeline Raymond, Judy Raymond, Eleanor Raymond, her sons Alixon George, Roger Casey, Roosevelt Raymond, Hazel Raymond, Newton Raymond, Niece Albertha George and Nephew Bernard Douglas. Her loving Nephew-in-law Ericson M. George, Daughters-in-law, Ivenia George, Valda Casey, Tara Raymond and Colleen Raymond. Her beloved 17 Grand Children, 9 Great Grand Children, 2 Grand Nieces, 2 Grand Nephews, 2 Great Grand Nieces and 1 Great Grand Nephew.
