Jefferson Gabriel

Jefferson Gabriel was born on July 12, 1997 in Danache, Haiti. He was raised by his mother and was the only child. Jeffferson was a happy kid and full of life. In December 2000, Jeff and his mom moved to the United Stated for a better way of life.

Jefferson did his pre-k and part of his Elementary Schooling in Irvington and continued his schooling in Rahway. In 2011 Jefferson entered High School in Rahway. While there, he joined the ROTC, played Football, joined the wrestling team, and he participated in a whole host of sport activities. He graduated in June 2015.

After graduating High School, he went on to graduate from Culinary School, became a head Chef. His family, co-workers and friends were very fond of him, and he was fun to work and be around. He never displayed anger and impatience towards anyone, always with a smile on his face. Jeff lived a remarkable life as short as it may have been.

On a day that our family and his friends will never forget, March 18, 2023, Jefferson Gabriel was called home to continued his journey next to God. As unbearable the pain is, we cannot question why he went home so early. As he peacefully resting in God’s hands let us remember the young man who light up the room with his smile, and every time we felt this unbearable pain, the heartache of him not being around, let us remember that smile, and the memories that we will cherish forever.
