So: Marcelus Philistin Laterion, Saint Maree as some people used to call him, Tipapa or Marce's father as his aunts called him because he carried the name of grand- father was Marcelus Previlon. Maree was born in the commune of Desdunes on March 13, 1939 and died on May 14, 2024. We can say that he spent 85 years, 2 months and one day on earth. Maree was the son of Saintana Previlon and Philistin Gabriel Laterion. He didn't have the chance to go to school because our grandparents in Desdunes didn't give too much importance to school at that time. Marcelus liked to work a lot and he had a lot of principles, he was everyone's person. Marcelus fell in love with Saintana Saint Louis who became Saintana Saint Louis Laterion after their marriage and together they had 4 children and 2 of them died early, we have with us Chesnel Laterion and Marie Michelet Laterion Jean Baptiste. All his family a big thank you for supporting him to cross the last bad winds, many big setbacks in Tipapa's illness. Maree left Haiti on May 18, 1980 to come to live in the United States. Today, Saturday, May 25, is with great sadness for his children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, family, and friends, they wish him a last tribute.
