Marie Roselene Cadet Damestoir was born on Dec 7th 1963 to Chavannes Cadet & Marie Therese Pierre. She was born in Bizoton, a communal section of Port au Prince, Haiti. Growing up she found a passion for becoming a beautician. Later on in the years she met her husband Frantz Damestoir in 1988. Years later they got married in 1995. In 2001 she migrated to the US with 3 of her children to join her husband and oldest daughter. While in the states she continued to be a hairstylist. She also was an amazing cook. You couldn’t live in Irvington without knowing about her cuisines . In her words she would always say “MANJE’M SE BON BAGAY, AWONDAY!!!” She was LEGEND in the community. She was well respected and loved by everyone, whether you were young, old Haitian or non Haitian. Out of many things she was a mother too many. She had a huge heart. If you were ever in need she would be there for you no matter what. She would shelter and feed a lot of people. She would even treat you as if you were her own. She was a whole comic. You would have a bad day and she would come and brighten it up. She was our own super star. A star that will never die in our hearts!
