Marie Michelle Nelson best known as Sr. Michelle was born on June 28, 1942 in Ducis, Aux Cayes, located in the south side of Haiti. She was the daughter of late Cerestina Acaau and Meritone Dorilas. She was the youngest out of her 13 siblings. She left Haiti and moved to the United States in 1983 where she resided in Montclair NJ.
She worked as a nursing assistant for 25 years, she was a hard worker. Sister Michelle was a faithful servant of God, she attended Shiloh Baptist church for about 30 years. She dedicated her life in church activities. she was a deaconess and she spent almost 20 years teaching in the children ministry known as "Les Petits Troupeaux". Sister Michelle enjoyed traveling, cooking, and sewing.
She got diagnosed with cancer in July 2017, that was the worst period of her life. Ultimately, she lost her battle to cancer on September 13, 2020.
Sister Michelle was a strong mind woman. However, her life was a blessing to many. Sister Michelle was a wonderful soul, she was loved, and she will be sorely missed by everyone.
She left behind Her children and spouses : Marc Boudeau and Margo Bourdeau, Christine Escalazy and Makenzy Escalazy

Her favorite nephew: Ralph Carrié
Her nieces and nephews: Claudie Carrié, Marie-Auguste Vancol, Winnie Jean Noel, Saurel Dorilas, Perpetue Dorilas, Margarette Clermont, Suzette Bienestin Josette Cadet, Rhody Carrié, Christian Carrié, Annie , Wesley-Auguste, Weslair and many more.
