Marie Sainteard

Marie Yola Sainteard, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, she was the cherished daughter of the late Etelene Sainteard and Erzulie Dastinot. The fifth of their children, Marie's life was a testament to faith, love, and resilience.

Marie spent several years in Montreal, Canada, where she was an active member of her church community. In 2000, she met the love of her life, Frisnel Limage, and on December 25, 2001, they exchanged vows in a union built on love and devotion. In June 2002, she embarked on a new chapter, relocating to the United States to continue building a life filled with faith, family, and purpose.

A devoted wife, loving mother, proud new grandmother, beloved sister, caring aunt, and treasured friend, Marie touched the lives of many with her unwavering faith and kind heart. A strong-willed Christian woman, she turned to God in both times of joy and challenge. Her radiant smile, impeccable style, and love for vibrant colors could brighten any room. She found joy in shopping, gardening, and cultivating herbs, which she lovingly used to create herbal medicinal teas. Hardworking, resilient, and deeply compassionate, she embraced life with a spirit that was both strong and tender.

Marie’s beautiful legacy lives on through her husband, Frisnel Limage, her three daughters, Erdline Jean Louis, Fabyola Zina Limage, and Rebecca Ruth Limage, her cherished grandchild, Isaac Wayden Donatien, and her son-in-law, Wilder Donatien. She is also survived by her seven siblings: Smith Sainteard, Menes Sainteard, Ginette Saintheard Jean Charles, Edele Saintheard, Lyonel Saintheard, Carine Saintheard Donatien, and Imara Sainteard, along with a host of grieving relatives and dear friends.

Marie Yola Sainteard’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
