Marie C. Francois

Marie C. Francois was born on August 5, 1954, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She immigrated to the United States in 1980, carrying with her the resilience, strength, and faith that would guide her throughout her life.

Marie was a devoted wife to Emmanuel Louissaint, with whom she shared 37 beautiful years together. Together, they raised five children: Christina, Regine, Jean Emmanuel, Junior and Mellissa, who were the center of her world. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren, Brielle, Chance, Carter, Skylar, Chloe and Chase, who she adored.

A woman of deep faith, Marie was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church and was known for her hospitality, her home-cooked meals, and her unwavering love for family and helping others. Marie worked as a United Airlines Food and Beverage Associate and touched the lives of many with her kindness, wisdom, and strength. Marie enjoyed watching Haitian politics on YouTube, keeping up with the news, traveling and visited many parts of the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe. 

Marie was a loving and loyal friend to many. Her door was always open, and her heart was even more so. She gave freely and generously of her time, energy, and resources—always ready to help those in need without hesitation or expectation. Her compassion was boundless, and her legacy of generosity will live on in the many lives she uplifted.

On July 17, 2025, Marie was called home to be with the Lord. Her memory will live on through the values she instilled in her family, faith, compassion, and resilience. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
