Marie E. Leger was born in Port- Au- Prince, Haiti on February 21st, 1949, to Hermithe Gabriel and Herard Debrosse.

Marie attended elementary school at JB Derroux and went on to Franck Etienne college. After graduating, Marie became an Elementary school teacher, doing exactly what she loved to do, which was educating and caring for children. After meeting Gaspard Leger at the school in which she was working, Marie fell in love and soon after they were happily married. Later on in their marriage they were blessed with 5 wonderful children. She then left Haiti and came to the United States in the year of 1997 & resided in Delray Beach, Florida for about 2 and a half years. In the year 2000 she left Florida & moved to New Jersey to help take care of her grandchildren.

Marie was an amazing wife, mother, sister & best of all grandmothers. She was divine, driven, a care giver, selfless, kind, loving, an amazing listener and always willing to help take care of anyone.
