Marie Lucienne Lissaint

Marie Lucienne was born on Sunday August 13, 1933, in Jererime, Haiti to parentage of the late Pervius and Gloria.  Marie Lucienne is one of seven children and left Haiti at the age of 37 for work in the United States.

Marie came to the United States in 1971 as a nanny for her employer at that time.  She has been in the United States for 54 years.   She was an exceptional person striving to make a better future for herself and passing that blessing forward.  She had a great nurturing presence.  A true people person. 

While residing in the United States, she cared and provided for her family in the U.S. and Haiti.

She loved various pass times with her grandchildren from cooking, watching WWE, shopping, storytelling, laughing, mentoring and enjoying each other’s company.  Passing on cherished memories and creating cherished memories.

She had a profound love for her family and friends.   A strong sense of duty to ensure her family was protected and able to move forward. She enjoyed making her favorite dishes and celebrating with family that was her driving force family.

She is survived by her two younger sisters, two daughters, five grandsons, one granddaughter, six great grandchildren who will keep her dearly in their hearts and memories always.

On Friday March 28, 2025, Marie Lucienne was called home to the Lord.  May she again rejoice with her loved who have passed before her.
