Marie Prosper Destinvil

Marie Prosper Destinvil, 67, died after a heart attack on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at University Hospital in Newark. She adored Haitian gospel music. Marie was born in Pestel, Haiti, on March 25, 1956. She had (3) daughters. She loved them all equally; she loved her family and friends; they also referred to her as "Manman Vant" and "Manman Lavi." Marie was a dedicated worker who left Haiti in 2006 to pursue better opportunities in the United States. She was determined to live, but her medical condition would not allow her to do so; her dream was to see her three daughters together and love each other unconditionally. She was baptized in 2018 at SDA Church. Marie loved her God and the people around her; she enjoyed sharing and was sensitive to others. Marie was adored and cherished by all of her family and friends.
