Maxi Ulysse Obituary

Maxi Ulysse was born in Chevreau Lombard, in the village of Grande-Saline, on April 22, 1980 to Larodie Sauveur and Michel Ulysse. Maxi began his primary studies in St. Marc at L’école Frère Hervé. Maxi went on to high school at Institution Saint-Louis de Gonzague and graduated at Georges Marc in Port-au-Prince. He began college at Faculté des Droits et des Sciences Humaines to study economics and law before immigrating to the United States shortly afterwards.

In March 2000, Maxi migrated to the U.S. where he continued his studies and worked tirelessly to integrate into the U.S. Maxi returned to Haiti to marry his sweetheart, Edmane Dot, on January 4, 2007. Maxi and Edmane have four beloved children: Madeline, Marvens, Marc Junior, and little Marcus. He spoiled his loved ones to the fullest.

Maxi was a very wise and kind family man who loved to tell jokes. Maxi’s dream was to retire in his homeland, but the Lord had greater plans for him.

On March 27, 2021, Maxi became unexpectedly ill and on April 2nd he was hospitalized. Maxi, being the strong man that he was, battled with his sickness. During his last days, Maxi was able to speak to his family virtually. On the day before he passed, Maxi called his family. He left his family with words of encouragement and love before his passing on April 24th, 2021.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, cousin and friend. The Lord always has the last word, and God wanted His warrior to come and fight a good fight with Him. Maxi Ulysse will forever be in our hearts, mind, and soul.

Maxi Ulysse is survived by his wife Edmane Dot; his children Madeline, Marvens, Marc Junior, and Marcus Ulysse; his family: Michel Ulysse, Larodie Sauveur, Francilia Dizaine, Elina Ulysse Dorielan, Fritz Dorielan, Remy Ulysse, Celinette Ulysse, Protégé Ulysse, Emmanuel Ulysse, Wadler Ulysse, Francia Maisonnet, Asseline Ulysse, Guy Jean-Philippe, Michaunette Ulysse, Fritz Alce, Gesner Ulysse, Ocianie Ulysse, Jocelyne Sylvain, Presendieu Sylvain, Jean Ulysse, Joanel Ulysse, Julia Ulysse Chase, Jennifer Ulysse Brereton, Verline Ulysse, Chelmie Ulysse, Britney Ulysse, Vianise Ulysse, Whitney Dorielan, Hemsley Dorielan, Mathias Ulysse, Michelda Ulysse, Florida St. Vil, Scarina Ulysse, Julienne Pierrilus, Daline Alce, Chermine Alce, Fritzner Alce, Steve Alce, Kenny Ulysse, Paul Ulysse Jr., Sindy Ulysse, Sidonie Ulysse, Delicia Jean-Philippe, Ricardo Jean-Philippe, Gesno Ulysse, Gesmene Ulysse, Sabina Ulysse, Stephan Ulysse, Scott Sylvain, Sauveur Ulysse, Gertha Ulysse, Ludette Ulysse, Charles, Louisina, Victor and Gérard Dizaine, Elimise and Marc Antoine Cadet, Venuce Louis, Betty and Léonie Gayaud, Louisilia and Willy Gaillot, Furmane Dot, Alexis Jonas Dot, Djouline Dot, Lordine Dot, Junior Dot, Jonassien Dot, and Waldens Napolean.
