Merlyn Willis

Merlyn Proscova Willis was the 5th of (8) children. Born April 24, 1934, to the Parentage of Eunice and Arthur Willis in park hall Clarendon, Jamaica in the West Indies. Merlyn’s siblings were Son Son, Myrtle, Adassa, Clinton, Joseph, Lloyd and Charles. Joseph is the only surviving sibling remaining.

                Merlyn went to live with her aunt in Kingston, Jamacia to finish her schooling to become a Chef.  She worked as a cook and housekeeper for a prominent family in Jamacia for many many years.

                Merlyn had (8) children Carol, Debbilyn, Elesia, William, Hanley, Pamela, Herman and Ted. (7) grandchildren Joel, Anthony, Alexandria, Shawn, Shaneil, Amelia and Ted.

Merlyn migrated to the United States in October of 2012 to be with her daughter Debbilyn. Merlyn was a very hard working and kindhearted woman. She was always the one that helped family members when in need. Merlyn was a very grateful, respectful and gracious person till the end.
