Michel Regala

Michel Regala known to many as Boss Michel, or as his son calls him, Presidan, was born on April 7th, 1955. He was born in Southeast Haiti more precisely, the area known as Belle Anse. His parents, Antoine and Simila Regala who have already been called home to Jesus, had 8 children, Arios, Sidney, Michel, William, Antonio, Andre Jean Bois, Jonas, and Marie Antoine.

During his younger years of life, he served in the Military services of Haiti. As he matured, he was blessed with 6 children of his own, Michou, Miguel, Joanna, Pierre Antoine, Nixon Rivera, and Rose Tachela. In 1999, he decided that it was best if he left Haiti, in search of a better life for his family. It was one of the hardest decisions he made, but he knew leaving his family was part of a bigger picture. He was a hardworking man. He made many sacrifices to keep his children from suffering. 

Michel Regala wanted nothing, but the best for his children. His goal was to bring all his children to the United States to give them a chance at a great future. He was able to bring 5 of the 6 children over. He was working on trying to bring his oldest child, Michou to United States as well. Not being able to bring her here with the other children weighed heavy on his heart. Michel Regala loved his children dearly. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him knows that his love is unconditional. 

Michel Regala is a person of fine character and he is known for his kindness and generosity. He will truly be missed, but always remembered in our hearts. His passing has left us broken, but the memories we have will help guide us through. He lives on in the lives of the ones he has left behind, his siblings, extended family, friends, and more specifically in the lives of his children and grandchildren, Michou and her 4 daughters, Miguel and his daughter, Joanna and her son, Pierre Antoine, and his wife, Juna and their 5 children, Nixon, and Rose Tachela and her 2 children.
